Audio stopped working

Hello,

The audio stopped working after it first started crackling and glitching on full volume. It seems as though the "speakers" output in settings have disappeared. This is on SlimbookOS 24 btw, and since I am new to the Linux world I would appreciate any help I can get.

Good morning,

Please check in a Live CD environment if the audio device works, this is to rule out any hardware issues. I'll link you a tutorial on how to do a Live CD environment here 
And if you need a live CD ISO, here is one.

Thank you for the info. I did some more investigating and figured out that the issue was probably linked to the sleepmode. After updating the bios the issue seems to be resolved!
