First attempt boot the computer, after first delivery: " RDSEED32 is broken "

Hola,

Acabo de recibir mi primer ordenador Slimbook. Estoy encantado. Pero, tras conectar el cable de alimentación y pulsar el botón de encendido, me aparece el siguiente mensaje:

RDSEED32 is broken. Disabling the corresponding CPUID bit.
i8042 : PNP : PS/2 appears to have AUX port disabled, if this is incorrect please boot with i8042.nopnp
device-mapper : core: CONFIG_IMA_DISABLE_HTABLE is disabled. Duplicate IMA measurements will not be recorded in the IMA log

Please unlock disk nvme0n1p3_crypt : _


A título informativo, al hacer el pedido, solicité que se cifrar la instalación ...

He buscado un poco, al menos para entender el significado de todos esos términos, pero no tengo ni idea de cómo resolver el problema. Es el primer arranque tras la entrega: he probado con la contraseña predeterminada que aparece en el folleto que venía con el ordenador, pero no ha funcionado.


¿Hay alguien que pueda explicármelo, ayudarme o ambas cosas? :) Por favoooor

I see the "RDSEED32 is broken" message also from time to time. Depends on the kernel-version.

The "Please unlock disk nvme0n1p3_crypt" message is because your disk is encrypted and you have to provide the password to decrypt it and to boot the system. Depending on your configuration, the font is very small. You have to type the password and confirm with ENTER. There won't be a visual feedback for your key presses.

Perhaps the keyboard is not yet set correctly (I see "French" on you signature). You could try to enter the password like you were on an US QWERTY keyboard. Hope this helps until you get an official answer from support.

Thank you very much for your reply!  It turns out that was the default mapping… I hadn’t realised.

As for the issue in question, “RDSEED32 is broken”, it seems this message may still appear in subsequent kernel versions, and that people are currently working on it. Great!
