on the creative product page, it says that the RAM can be upgraded up to 96GB at 5600MHz. However, when I ran ´sudo dmidecode -t 16' I got the information that the maximum capacity is 64GB.

Is there an explanation for this discrepancy?

Hi tspi,

Don't worry about it. The "Maximum Capacity" reported by dmidecode might be a theoretical limit and don't reflect the actual maximum that can be used in practice.
