I received my brand new Slimbook a couple of weeks ago, and there seems to be serious software issues. Google Earth has crashed my system several times. I just now installed Gnome Web from the Software app that came with my Slimbook, and Web won't work. My last computer was a System 76 and I never had these problems. I wonder if I should do a complete re-install of the whole OS, or is there a possibility of somehow resolving the issues that I have?

Good morning, Par Contre
Have you tried with another Web Browser such as Chrome or Chromium based browsers? Google Earth might be finicky in other browsers that are not Chromium based
Most likely you do not need an OS reinstall
Regards,
I'm not using Google Earth in a browser, although I think that I had one crash when using Google maps in Firefox (my default browser). But why doesn't Web work?
Good afternoon,
My apologies, I assumed you were using the web browser version, if the Google Earth native application doesn't work properly, you could try the web version
Regardless anything, as Google Earth might be a little resource intensive, your device might not be able to run the application properly
